Gaspard Blanc, osteopath and bike fitter

Gaspard Blanc is an osteopath (D.O.) in Viviers-du-Lac (Savoie, French Alps), 5 minutes from Aix-les-Bains and 10 minutes from Chambéry. A graduate of ISOstéo Lyon trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound, he treats adults, athletes, children, teenagers and pregnant women, in Viviers-du-Lac and at his second practice in Arêches-Beaufort. He also performs bike fits (bike fitting) in which he applies his expertise as an osteopath, for road, gravel and MTB cyclists and triathletes, including riders from La Motte-Servolex Cyclisme and Gustave Blanc, U23 rider with Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe Rookies.

From the mountains to the practice

I grew up in Arêches-Beaufort, a family resort in the Beaufortain where I learned to ski and where I go back whenever I can. Competitive alpine skiing filled my younger years. It taught me discipline, how to manage effort and, unfortunately, injuries.

After skiing, I turned to triathlon, which I still practise. It is this life as an athlete, and the osteopathy that supported me all along the way, that made me want to help others in turn to find their balance and reach their goals.

Creator of the FramIQ app

iPhone app for analysing your position on the bike.

I completed my five years of osteopathy studies at ISOstéo Lyon, graduating in 2024, after two years of practice at the school’s clinic. The same year, I added training in ultrasound-assisted musculoskeletal clinical examination, which lets me visualise a tendon, a muscle or a joint directly at the practice, and bike fitting training at Morphologics Lyon: pedal stroke analysis, fitting the bike to the body, managing position-related pain. In 2025, training in neuro-structural manipulation with Nicolas Van Michel. I practised in Annecy in 2024-2025 before opening the practice in Viviers-du-Lac.

Osteopath registered in the French health-professional registry (RPPS no. 10010725736).

In 2025, I created FramIQ, an iPhone app that analyses a cyclist’s position on video, and FramIQ Pro, its version for osteopaths, physiotherapists and bike fitters. They extend the bike fit between two sessions.

Day to day

Osteopath, bike fitter, and in the workplace

At the practice in Viviers-du-Lac, I split my time between osteopathy consultations, open to everyone, and bike fits. The two feed each other: a cyclist with knee pain often needs both, and a patient who comes for their back sometimes leaves with advice on their position at the desk or on the bike.

In the field, I support the riders of La Motte-Servolex Cyclisme, and I have followed Gustave Blanc, U23 rider with Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe Rookies, since his early days: position, injury prevention, recovery.

I also work with companies to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and improve wellbeing at work, with individual sessions and posture and movement workshops. Find out more.

I am also a sports photographer, mainly of cycling: another way of looking at movement.
