Beaufortain

Osteopath in Arêches-Beaufort

I grew up in Arêches-Beaufort and learnt to ski on the slopes of the Grand-Mont. Now an osteopath (D.O.), I remain attached to the Beaufortain and I see its residents, skiers and cyclists, at the practice in Viviers-du-Lac or during sessions in Beaufort. English-speaking visitors to the resort are welcome: consultations are available in English.

Who it is for

Residents, seasonal workers, skiers and cyclists of the Beaufortain

The Beaufortain is a land of athletes: alpine skiing and ski touring in winter, the Col du Pré, the Col de la Louze or the Cormet de Roselend in summer. I treat the pain that comes with them: skiers’ knees and low backs, stiffness after a fall, runners’ tendinopathies, cyclists’ pain on long climbs.

For cyclists riding up the Cormet de Roselend or the Col des Saisies, a bike fit at the practice in Viviers-du-Lac helps make sure the position is not what creates the pain.

The Arêches practice

7 chemin de la Grosse Pierre, Arêches, 73270 Beaufort. I mainly consult there during the Christmas and February school holidays, in August, and on some weekends through the year, whenever I am back in the Beaufortain. Appointments are made by phone on 06 13 66 09 55 or on Doctolib. Directions.

The main practice is in Viviers-du-Lac, between Aix-les-Bains and Chambéry, about an hour away via Albertville, with online booking on Doctolib (the booking page is in French, it takes two minutes) and the bike fitting station.
